CREDENTIAL REVIEW & RECOGNITION
In accordance with the Cosmetology Act, 2012, c. 39, s. 24 (the "Act") and By-law 4.3(a), any applicant that does not qualify for licensing under Labour Mobility (Canada), must apply in accordance with the Act and the Cosmetology Association's Policies. Below is a list of documents required to support a request for Credential Review & Recognition (Qualification).
- Verifiable evidence of formal training in a recognized school that offers a cosmetology program, or
- Verifiable evidence of informal training obtained at a training facility located in or outside of Canada, and
- Proof of Canadian residency (i.e.: Canadian Birth Certificate, Canadian Residency card, work or study permit;
- If the applicant's first language is not English, proof of English Language Proficiency testing obtained from a recognized testing facility (see below).
NOTE: Cosmetology training certificates and transcripts are required.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY:
